On September 3, 2026, the China Africa International Industrial Cooperation Signing Ceremony was successfully held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Hosted by Zhongguang International Culture and Tourism (Henan) Co., Ltd., the event was themed "Jointly Building an Industrial Community · Empowering New Opportunities for Enterprise Globalization," bringing together multiple domestic and international stakeholders to establish a platform for industrial docking and cooperation among Chinese, African, and international enterprises.
The event was attended by the China Africa Construction Holding, Yasheng Group (USA), a multi-country African delegation led by President of China Africa Construction Holding Institutions, and a number of domestic partner enterprises. Dr. Kodjovi A. Thon, President of China Africa Construction Holding Institution, Africa Region, and Mr. Komlan Dossey, CEO of China Africa Construction Holding, China Region, attended as core representatives of the African multi-country delegation. Also present were representatives from China-Africa Construction Holding Group, Ms. MEI P. WU on behalf of Yasheng Group (USA), and Mr. Gao Xiao'an on behalf of Zhongguang International, along with other distinguished guests.
During the ceremony, representatives from all parties delivered speeches, sharing their visions for cross-border industrial synergy, market resource integration, and pragmatic project implementation. Subsequently, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony took place, in which Zhongguang International Culture and Tourism (Henan) Co., Ltd., China-Africa Construction Holding Group, and Asheng Group (USA) jointly signed strategic cooperation agreements with the African multi-country delegation represented by Dr. Kodjovi A. Thon and Mr. Komlan Dossey. A plaque-awarding ceremony was held concurrently, with representatives from all relevant parties presenting and receiving the plaques.
The parties reached in-depth consensus on cooperation in areas including cultural tourism development, economic and trade circulation, project implementation, and cross-border industrial investment. They established an efficient and stable transnational cooperation bridge to facilitate the globalization of high-quality industrial resources from the Central Plains region, and promote two-way connectivity of capital, markets, and technological resources between China and overseas markets. On the one hand, the cooperation empowers domestic enterprises to expand into international markets; on the other hand, it supports the industrial upgrading of African local industries. By pooling the strengths of multiple parties, the cooperation aims to build a complementary industrial ecosystem that achieves resource sharing, mutual reinforcement, and win-win outcomes.
As a hub for inland opening-up to the world, Henan Province possesses a robust industrial base and significant geographical advantages. The China Africa international industrial cooperation project now based in Zhengzhou will fully leverage the resources of the Central Plains hinterland, connecting to the vast African market and international resources. It aims to create a new model for cross-border industrial cooperation, deepen Sino-foreign economic, trade, and cultural exchanges, and contribute to the high-quality development of the region's opening-up initiatives.
The event host stated that this signing represents a new starting point for multi-party industrial synergy. In the future, all signing parties will continue to deepen their engagement, promote the effective implementation of cooperation projects, explore the potential for China Africa and international industrial cooperation, and support more Chinese enterprises in going global, thereby writing a new chapter of win-win international industrial cooperation.
